Young lamb's wool has a short staple and is perfect on the inside for holding flies or protecting your valuable reel. A short staple is long enough to hold the fly without making it difficult to extract from the wallet - like many other wallets with longer wool. These products are the sort of things that get better with age and one day you will be able to pass them on to your children or grandchildren. Like the nets, once you see them you just have to have them.
